Jennifer Yeldell Santos was raised in Jacksonville and graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of North Florida.  She moved to Miami to attend Florida International University, where she earned a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and a Ph.D. in Life Span Developmental Psychology.  She taught Developmental courses at both Florida International University and Nova Southeastern University. She worked as a play therapist with children in Miami's inner city. Two years ago she decided to take a sabbatical from her practice and teaching and be a full time mother when her son was born. Her practice and her time with her son have given her a new perspective on the importance of connecting through play. She is excited to be returning home  to bring her cutting edge research-based programs to Jacksonville families. She will be teaching the Learn to Play, Play to Learn Classes as well as the Music Together® classes.
