Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in The Tot Spot’s volunteer program.  Are you interested in child development? Do you like to play? We offer a unique volunteer program that includes Play Meetings where we process your discoveries and introduce new concepts, giving you the opportunity to enrich your education and have a lot of fun in the process.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Play Facilitator-
Are you interested in learning more about child development in an applied setting? Have you been looking for a way to use all the new things you are learning in school in a real job? This is a great opportunity for students studying child development or early childhood development. Since this is not a day care, you would not be in a supervisory capacity, allowing you the freedom to enjoy the play as parents watch. We offer flexible schedules for this position.

Teacher Assistant-
Help teach little tots new skills and introduce them to new concepts. Watch as they begin to understand the world around them while maybe learning a few things yourself. We offer a variety of classes that allows us to provide a flexible schedule to our volunteers.
